The National Black Law Students Association of Touro Law Center will be holding their Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Terrace on the Park, located at 52-11 111th Street in Queens, New York. This year's keynote speaker will be former Governor David A. Paterson. Mr. Paterson served as New York's 55th governor from 2008-2010, the first African American to hold that position. Then-New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer selected him as his Lieutenant Governor running mate in the 2006 gubernatorial election. They were elected in November 2006, and Paterson took office as Governor following Spitzer's resignation in 2008. Mr. Paterson is currently teaching at NYU.
