"The Treating Psychologist Testifying in Court" Program at the SCBA



The Suffolk Academy of Law, the Suffolk County Psychological Association and Touro Law Center are co-presenting a program on Friday, March 27, 2009 titled “The Treating Psychologist Testifying in Court” from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Suffolk County Bar Association.

This workshop looks at the information a treating psychologist provides attorneys and the court. What is the value of this information? How can the treating psychologist increase the accuracy of this information? Focus will be on a child’s psychologist providing information for a court case involving issues of visitation and custody.

Faculty: Neil S. Grossman, Ph.D and Gary Tabat, Esq. with Hon. John C. Bivona, Robert Cohen, Esq., Janis Noto, Esq. and Wendy B. Doret, Ph.D.

Coffee and Light Refreshments will be served. MCLE credits are available for lawyers and CE credits are available for psychologists. Tuition is $50 for current Suffolk County Bar Association Members and Touro Law Center Alumni.
