Touro Law Center's Office of Development, Alumni Relations and Communications is proud to announce that Lois Schwaeber ’92 has been selected as the alum of the month for November.Ms. Schwaeber is a leader in her profession and remains an active member of the alumni community. She participates in a number of programs for current students, is a member of Touro Law Center’s Alumni Council and serves as a mentor for current students. She has also been a guest speaker for The Public Interest Law Organization of Touro Law Center’s Wine & Cheese reception and has spoken at a number of seminars and programs throughout her career.
Lois Schwaeber is the Director of Legal Services of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Administration of Coalition Legal Services and Family Court Advocacy projects. Prior to becoming the Director, she was a Senior Staff Attorney for the Coalition. Before joining the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Ms. Schwaeber was an attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic for Nassau/Suffolk Legal Services, Inc. and was also an attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers Project in Hempstead, N.Y.
