Employment Expo - The Town of Islip Economic Development, in conjunction with the Central Islip Civic Council, will be hosting an Employment Expo on Thursday, April 15th from 9 a.m.-12 noon at the Epicurean Restaurant on the NYIT Central Islip Campus, 300 Carleton Avenue, CI. Representatives from Suffolk County Community College's Corporate Training Center, US Nonwovens Corporation, Whitsons Culinary Group, Summit Plastics, USA Industries, Norris Food Service, NYS Dept. of Labor, S.C. Dept. of Labor and more... will be present.

Health and Wellness Fair - Central Islip High School is hosting its 1st Health Fair on Saturday, April 17th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central Islip High School 85 Wheeler Road, CI. 35+ health-related organizations will be present to offer services and information for you and your family. College Woods Spring Cleanup Day - College Woods Civic Association is holding its 3rd Annual Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 24th beginning at 10 a.m. at the park on the corner of McKinney Street and Pine Street (off Smith Street). Helpers are still needed for this day. If you are interested in helping stop by with some friends, neighbors, family members to lend a hand.
